Privacy policy
Effective 18 September 2026
This policy covers rubyintelligencellc.com and the games published by Ruby Intelligence LLC. We've tried to write it in plain English rather than the usual fog.
The short version: our games are free and paid for by advertising. To show those ads, Google collects information about your device, and depending on your settings it may use that information to personalise what you see. You can turn personalisation off at any time, and we explain how below.
Who we are
Ruby Intelligence LLC, 7831 Nolensville Road, Arrington, Tennessee 37014, United States. We are the party responsible for the information described here. Reach us at support@rubyintelligencellc.com.
What we collect ourselves
Your game progress and settings are stored on your own device. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, address, or date of birth.
If you email us for support, we keep your message and your email address so we can answer you and follow up if the same problem comes back.
If you make a purchase inside a game, Apple processes it and tells us a purchase happened so the game can unlock what you bought. We never see your card number or billing address.
Advertising
Our games show ads supplied by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure those ads, Google and its advertising partners collect information from your device, including:
- Your device's advertising identifier (on iPhone and iPad this is the IDFA)
- Your IP address, and the approximate location it implies, usually no more precise than your city or region
- Device and software details such as model, operating system version, language, and screen size
- Information about the ads themselves, including which ones were shown, how long they were visible, and whether you tapped one
Where you have allowed it, this information can be used to build a profile of your interests and to show you ads based on your activity across other apps and websites. Where you have not allowed it, Google serves non-personalised ads, which are chosen from the content of the game and rough context rather than your history. Non-personalised ads still involve some data collection for frequency capping, measurement, and fraud prevention.
Google's use of this information is governed by its own policies. You can read how Google handles data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Who we share information with
Google, for the advertising described above. That's the only third party that receives information from inside our games.
Apple, which handles all purchases and passes us only confirmation that a purchase occurred.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to investigate fraud or abuse of our games. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not share it with data brokers.
Your choices
You have real control over the advertising described above.
On first launch, iOS asks whether you'll allow us to track you across other companies' apps and websites. Choosing "Ask App Not to Track" means the advertising identifier is not made available, and the ads you see will not be personalised.
To change your mind later, open Settings on your device, then Privacy & Security, then Tracking, and switch the game off or on. You can also turn off tracking for every app at once from that screen.
To start fresh, go to Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Apple Advertising, and reset your advertising identifier. Existing profiles built against the old identifier no longer follow you.
To remove ads entirely, where a game offers a paid option to do so, buying it stops ads being requested at all.
If you're in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland
Before any personalised advertising happens, we ask for your consent through a consent management platform certified by Google, as its EU User Consent Policy requires. You can decline, in which case you'll see non-personalised ads instead.
You can change or withdraw that consent at any time from the privacy option in the game's settings screen, and your choice takes effect immediately.
Our legal basis for personalised advertising is your consent. Our legal basis for the limited processing involved in non-personalised advertising, fraud prevention, and measurement is our legitimate interest in running a game that pays for itself.
If you're in California
We do not sell your personal information. However, allowing Google to use your advertising identifier for personalised advertising may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under the California Consumer Privacy Act. You can opt out of that sharing by declining the tracking prompt, or by switching this game off under Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking. We treat that device setting as a valid opt-out request and we do not discriminate against anyone who uses it.
California residents also have the right to know what we've collected, to have it deleted, and to have it corrected. Email us to exercise any of these.
Children
Our games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@rubyintelligencellc.com and we will delete it.
Where users in the EEA or UK are below the age of digital consent, we instruct Google not to request consent and not to serve personalised ads to them.
This website
Our web host records standard server logs, including IP addresses and which pages were requested, to keep the site running and to fend off abuse. This site carries no advertising, no advertising cookies, and no cross-site trackers.
How long we keep things
Support emails are kept for up to two years, then deleted. Game data stored on your device stays there until you delete the game. Server logs are kept for a short retention window set by our host. Advertising data held by Google is subject to Google's own retention periods, which we don't control.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@rubyintelligencellc.com with "data" in the subject line and we'll respond within 30 days.
If you're covered by the GDPR, you also have the right to object to processing, to request a portable copy of your data, and to complain to your national data protection authority.
Where your information goes
We're based in the United States, and the services we rely on process information there. If you're in the EEA or the UK, that means your information may be transferred outside your home country. Google relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and other approved transfer mechanisms for these transfers.
Security
We keep the information we hold ourselves to a minimum, which is the most effective protection available. What we do hold is stored on services that use encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't claim otherwise.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of the page. Material changes will be announced in the game or on this site before they take effect.
